2012 NBA Playoff Thoughts #5

Hey everyone. Here’s the site of my new blog. Hopefully you’ll like the new location. I was really excited by the New York Knicks’ victory over the Miami Heat in Game 4. I was sitting at a bar with my friends, watching a part of the game and then had to leave to go to Hooters to join my friends when I was watching the game. Great game. Carmelo Anthony ends up with 41 points and most importantly, a Knicks victory. The Knicks survived elimination, winning 89-87 and forcing Game 5 in Miami this Wednesday. I am sooo looking forward to it. Late game plays from L.A. Lakers bench players and Ramon Sessions helped secured a victory in Denver giving the Mike Brown-coached Lakers a 3-1 series lead. The Lakers win Game 4 92-88. Boston wins against Atlanta 101-79 for a 3-1 series lead. I really hate to say it, but the Chicago Bulls really stink up the joint without Derrick Rose playing for them. They lost Game 4 89-82 and are now in danger of being eliminated. I really can’t say if Chicago deserved to win, even though they don’t have Derrick Rose or Joakim Noah.

  1. Love your new blog site! Especially appreciate the email announcing each new blog!
No surprise re the Bulls…they had a great season by relying too much on Rose. now they are lost without him. Who would they go to now?
Blame the coach for not coaching????

    • I question Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau’s decision for leaving Derrick Rose in the game when Chicago was leading in the fourth quarter. If he hadn’t left Rose in the game that late, would he have still been injured? If any head coach had that decision to make, they would choose to rest their star player. This is a Bulls team that relies on Derrick Rose’s floor leadership, clutch shooting, and overall athleticism. Hoping to go into this regular season, the Bulls hoped that Richard Hamilton, their latest off-season acquisition, would be Derrick Rose’s sidekick. Though Hamilton has been sidelined with injuries, it has been nearly impossible for Hamilton to co-exist with Rose in the backcourt. The Bulls are not a complete team without Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah, who has also been injured. This has been a season lost for the Chicago Bulls. Rest assured, all hope is not lost. There is one game left to play that is in Chicago for Game 5. This is the Bulls’ season on the line.
