The Chicago Bulls are building for the future, as they try and trade Luol Deng to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Andrew Bynum and future draft picks. It’s a step forward for Chicago, as they try and move forward without him. Trading Deng means the Bulls will rebuild again and without Derrick Rose again, they won’t need a swingman type of perimeter player. The Bulls are trying to acquire Nikola Mirotic as they get a franchise-type player, this time not a point guard, but a power forward. The Golden State Warriors are interested in signing Kirk Hinrich, while the Houston Rockets want sharpshooter Mike Dunleavy from the Bulls. All these trades for Chicago means they want to get younger faster and as they try to get young, they’ll might need a change of personnel.
