Rajon Rondo Injured

Has anyone forgotten the presence of the point guard who played famously alongside Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen in the 2008 NBA Finals when they won the NBA title that year? Rajon Rondo has an NBA title, but not to the extent, where he can lead a championship-caliber team to an NBA championship much less the NBA Finals. Rondo has been belittled with injuries in the past, but these injuries shouldn’t get him down. Expect the Chicago Bulls to get him back as soon as possible.

Cavaliers and Warriors sweep

Are we heading for a Cavaliers-Warriors matchup in the NBA Finals? It’s only the first round and yet, the Cavaliers have swept the Indiana Pacers four games to none and the Golden State Warriors have also swept the Portland Trail Blazers four to zip. There’s nothing like sweeping the competition in the first round.

The Bulls have collapsed in Games 3 and 4 in Chicago. The Celtics have ignited the fire and now it’s 2-2. The Celtics and the Bulls will retool for Game 5 in Boston. Can I hear an encore for a fantastic Game 5 between the Bulls and the Celtics.

NBA Playoffs 2017

The NBA playoffs are here and we are off to the races! The L.A. Clippers lost Game 1 and home court advantage to the Utah Jazz. What is to become of this for the star-studded Los Angeles Clippers? Clips coach Doc Rivers will need to find answers in order to rebound from their Game 1 loss. The Chicago Bulls found life in their Game 1 victory in Boston. The eighth seeded Chicago Bulls will need more from their one-man show, Jimmy Butler, in order to win Game 2.

NBA Pre-season

The NBA pre-season is going on right now. Who will be fresher than most NBA teams going into the regular season? Does Nerlens Noel have what it takes to lead these Philadelphia Sixers? Will Brandon Ingram step up for the Los Angeles Lakers? Can Kevin Durant mesh with his new teammates? Will Dwyane Wade help Chicago into the NBA playoffs? There are lots of questions in the NBA that need to be answered.

Rajon Rondo signs with Chicago

Rajon Rondo signed a 2-year, $28 million deal to play with the Chicago Bulls. Will he be able to mesh with Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg and his teammates? Rondo will be playing with newly acquired Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler, who will be sliding to the small forward position. Everybody is moving around in the NBA, in search for an for NBA title. Will Kevin Durant help Golden State make back-to-back-to back NBA Finals appearances? Will Lebron James get Cleveland another NBA title? Time will tell.

Cavs win 2016 NBA Title and Among Other News

The Cleveland Cavaliers are 2016 NBA Champions and they did it by beating the Golden State Warriors 4 games to 3 on June 19. Lebron James is the four-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player. The Cavs had grit and the Golden State Warriors did not. That is the key ingredient to who wins the NBA Finals.

Derrick Rose has been traded to the New York Knicks recently today. What becomes of the deal that has been made?

NBA Playoffs Approaching

With the 2016 NBA playoffs approaching, the Chicago Bulls are in trouble of meshing with the Detroit Pistons and the Washington Wizards for the 8th seed. If the Bulls are successful of holding onto the 8th seed, they will meet the Cleveland Cavaliers who are having chemistry issues with Lebron James and Kyrie Irving not clicking on all cylinders and not on the same page playing basketball. Things will get tough for Chicago in the off-season, trying to trade these star Bulls and their massive salaries such as Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose.

Bulls searching for team identity?

This Bulls team, coached by former-NCAA coach Fred Holberg, is busy trying to find a leader within its core system of players. Is it Derrick Rose? Is it Jimmy Butler? Is it Pau Gasol? Is it Joakim Noah? Usually, the most vocal player is the leader. Since we’ve heard from the Chicago Bulls, it’s usually Butler who has shown signs of leadership. Since Butler’s improvements over the last two NBA seasons, Butler wants to show he can lead a team.

If Jimmy Butler is the leader, he must decide how to integrate the players on his team into the flow of the offense and decide how they must play defence as one team.

Undefeated

The Golden State Warriors have the best record in the NBA and because of that, they are undefeated. So what will they do by the end of the 2015-2016 NBA season? Will they break the Chicago Bulls record of 72 wins for 1995-96? With the backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the Warriors are shooting three-pointers like there’s no tomorrow. And, they added Jason Thompson, another forward acquired in the off-season to help Golden State re-tool. We might prepare they might go 82-0.
